2D1N Mt. Trusmadi Hike Via Kaingaran - Sabahan Rate
TAMBUNAN
- Meet and greet at the Tourist Information Centre, Tambunan Township.
- Register for the Trusmadi Resthouse.
- Attend an introductory briefing conducted by the assigned FMU10 staff.
- Gather back at the Tourist Information Centre.
- Board the assigned 4WD transport for departure.
- Arrive at the FMU10 Check-point for bag and permit inspections.
- Continue the journey through rough terrain toward Taman Kitingan.
- Arrive at the Taman Kitingan Starting Point.
- Attend a short safety briefing by your Mountain Guide.
- Begin the climb and trek into the dense forest.
-Arrive at the resthouse and settle into your accommodation.
- Enjoy lunch.
- Have a mid-afternoon coffee break.
- Have dinner.
- Note the genset power-off time for the night.
TAMBUNAN
- Wake up as the genset power is turned back on.
- Have a light midnight supper
- Begin the early morning trek up to the summit of Nuluhan Trusmadi Tambunan at 2,642 meters.
- Reach the summit.
- Enjoy the sunrise and the stunning backdrop view of Mt. Kinabalu.
- Trek down back to the resthouse.
- Enjoy brunch upon arrival.
- Check out of the resthouse.
- Trek down to the Taman Kitingan Starting Point.
- Undergo a final bag inspection at the checkpoint.
- Board the transfer vehicle back to Tambunan.
- Arrive back at the Tambunan Tourist Information Centre.
